The Masters of Business Administration Programme of the institute was started in 2008 in affiliation with UPTU and approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD with a dedicated infrastructure. It reflects the needs of the present day dynamic business and economic scenario to enable its students to face the challenges of the corporate world.

The purpose behind this is to give the student a sustainable competitive advantage. The Department takes the onus to prepare a breed of Managers who have courage, skills and resilience to excel in the Corporate World. Value added courses are introduced to help students to develop essential management skills such as leadership, communication and encourage teamwork.

The Department draws great intellectual nourishment from the institute’s broad ranging academic strength. The department is committed to the highest standards of academic excellence. The faculty has been selected from leading business schools of nation. The aim is to nurture young people, whatever their background, into successful managers & entrepreneurs.

The academic blocks are well supported by fully furnished Lecture Halls with modern amenities and teaching aids like LCD Projector, OHP, Audio Visual Aids, Language Lab, Computer Labs, 24X7 internet facilities, Digital Library, Seminar and Conference Halls.

The Department offers two years Post Graduate Program in Management with dual specialization in below mentioned areas designed to bring excellence in the field of Management Education.

Department of Management Studies of the institute believes in holistic education, aimed at the development of overall personality of the students via.:

Case Studies: Employed to develop the mental ability of each student and encourage him/her to ensure they understand as to how the theory learnt applies in real life managerial situations.

Seminar & Workshops: Learning through seminars, workshops and conferences encourages professional discussions between students and practicing managers.

Role-play & Simulation: Role playing gives students a chance to live the roles and practice the concepts beforehand.

3I Concept – Industry Institute Interaction: LDC has adopted an innovative and unique concept to bring industry and academia close to each other with an objective to give the students an exposure to the prevailing practices in the corporate world.

In addition to all they are given a practical perspective though the “Meet The Industry Program” held every semester.

All the students have to undergo the prescribed Summer Training and Research Project study at the end of 2nd and 4th semesters respectively which provides excellent opportunity to them for applying management concepts and techniques in real life situations.
