Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance:

SARASWATI INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY is governed on the lines of well-established practices of good governance. Under this system, the Governing Council, comprising of management representatives, academician of repute, noted scholars having institution building experience and the representatives of the industry, lay down the policies. The progress of the institute is reviewed regularly by the governing council and directions are given to correct the course of action, in case of any deviations and the implementation of further plans. The system fallows high degree of decentralization of authority and power. The HODs are empowered to run their departments within the frame work of polices.

Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance:

We seek Students Feedback every six months on the Institutional Governance/faculty performance

Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students:

The institute has a well established grievance redressal mechanism. A committee headed by dean student's welfare and having a number of faculty members drawn from each department look into the grievances of the students. While most of the cases are resolved by the committee, some others receive the attention of the director. Similarly, the faculty and staff grievances are addressed by the committee of the HODs and the functional heads, called as the administrative committee. The students, the staff and the faculty members have direct access to the director to have their grievances re-addressed, if they find themselves dis-satisfied with the decision of the committees.
